Dana-Farber melanoma patient Tim O’Keefe and Dr. Elizabeth Buchbinder on Tim’s recurrence of melanoma and Dana-Farber’s advancements in immunotherapy

Tim O’Keefe was first diagnosed with melanoma ten years ago, but experienced a relapse in 2016. A year later a scan revealed five tumors in his spine. Tim is currently responding well to oral chemotherapy. Tim and Dr. Elizabeth Buchbinder, who studies melanoma in the Medical Oncology department at Dana-Farber, join Dale and Keefe to discuss Tim’s diagnosis and the advancements being made in immunotherapy research at Dana-Farber.
