The 20th season of Dance Camera West’s renowned film festival will screen top selections chosen from a record 400 submissions around the world. DCW partners with LA presenters featuring one of the first film events at the newly founded 2220 Arts & Archives (formerly The Bootleg Theater) from March 24 to 26 including screenings and Q&As. From March 31 to April 2, DCW presents international films at Theater Raymond Kabbaz or TRK Closing night will be the centerpiece of the festival, when DCW presents six films it helped produce, made by the recipients of the NEA funded DCW Finishing Fund for Underrepresented Filmmakers. Kelly is a creator and curator of dance film. She danced independently in Montréal and New York and was a member of PoMo CoMo (Postmodern Commotion), an artist and scientist collection. Kelly has directed several dance films that are shown internationally. She has travelled as an guest lecturer, panel speaker and jury member at Universities in Canada and the US.
