For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation (FPS) was founded by Marci Schankweiler in honor of her late husband, Pete. After Pete succumbed to testicular cancer at the age of 30, Marci utilized her skills as a tax attorney and litigator, as well as her firsthand experience as a caregiver, to establish this non-profit organization. Inspired by Pete's memory, FPS aims to provide respite and support to those affected by cancer, offering a unique and valuable resource for individuals and their families during their challenging cancer journeys.
