Daniel stands up to peer pressure and insists on eating food blessed by God. At the end of the 10 day test, Daniel and his friends appeared better in health than all the rest. At the end of the three years of learning at the Kings Court, Daniel and his friends appeared superior to everyone in all knowledge and understanding. By holding on to God‘s instructions in commands, Daniel is now able to bless all those around him. In a similar fashion, we also need to hold on to God‘s commands, no matter where we are. We need to strive to grow in God‘s word, as our very food, so that we can grow strong in wisdom in every way, and likewise, bless those around us as well.
