Failed predictions about dates and disasters leave people still asking what hope the future holds. Daniel sees persecuted people raised from death, with some receiving everlasting life and others facing everlasting contempt. Evil will not have the final word. Jesus was raised from the dead as the first to enter this everlasting life, showing God cares about this world and will deal with its wrongs.
