Daniel 2: The Stone Empires Cannot Break - Tim Horman
from One Church, Blackburn Hosted by One Church
Empires rise and empires fall. Every kingdom that has ever claimed to rule the world has eventually crumbled, no matter how powerful it seemed at the time. So what actually lasts? Tim Horman opens up Daniel 2 and the king's forgotten dream: a towering statue made of gold, silver, bronze and iron, smashed to pieces by a single stone that grows into a mountain filling the whole earth. It's a picture of every human empire, and of the one kingdom that will outlast them all. If you've ever wondered whether the things you're building your life on will actually hold, this message is worth sitting with.
