He spent 20 years in education as a High School English teacher at both Bear River High School and Bitney Prep Charter High School. He is now the Communications & Engagement Director at SYRCL (the South Yuba River Citizens League), owner/marketing director of Elkin Education Marketing, and President of Fieldmouse Press, where he also act as Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief of SOLRAD, the online literary magazine for comics.
