God’s promise to our fathers is that He will make us a great nation, which means we will have a lasting legacy. God says I will bless you and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing. Abraham is the father of faith to those who also receive this promise through Christ in faith, and inheriting this promise is the outcome of our faith!  Does your security come from the processes you have established or your faith in God your Father? Abraham demonstrates his trust in God by letting Lot choose which portion of the land to live in.
