Not in arrogance. Not in anger. Not as the “Bible police.” And not avoiding it in the name of niceness. Two extremes pull us off course—some people never confront, and some confront with no love at all. But godly confrontation is different: it’s prayerful, careful, humble, and always aimed at restoration.Daniel shows us how. He stands before King Nebuchadnezzar—the most powerful man alive—and says the hard thing, not to shame him but to help him turn back to God. “Please accept my advice… stop sinning and do what is right.” His courage didn’t come from pride. It came from love. From wanting the king to know the goodness of God.And that’s what this week is about. There will be moments when God calls you to stand up for someone, not against them.
