Daniele was born in Milan, Italy in a family of writers. After high school he moved to Los Angelesand attended Santa Monica College and later graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Anthropology. When he was 20 he co-authored his first book, he then co-Authored 2 more books and his first solobook was published when he was 22. He Currently teaches at a couple of universities and hosts 2 podcasts:History on Fire and The Drunken Taoist.
