Hidden in the fog-draped hills of Northern California lies the Emerald Triangle—a region notorious for its shadowy underworld of illegal marijuana cultivation, rampant meth and heroin production, and the chilling lore of Murder Mountain. But behind the scenic wilderness and laid-back exterior, it harbors darker secrets, among them is the saga of the Humboldt Five: five women who vanished under mysterious circumstances, their cases threaded together by eerie similarities and unsettling silence. This is the last of the five disappearances. After enduring a devastating loss and seeking a fresh start, a 20-year-old moved to California. The promise of healing quickly unraveled into addiction, dangerous company, and a job on the infamous Murder Mountain. Last seen getting into a car driven by a man with a violent past and chilling ties to another missing woman, her disappearance cracked open the mystery of the Humboldt County Five.
