Like what you hear? Want to support the podcast? Show us some love and buy us a coffee! In this episode, voice actor Danielle Harris opens up about her bold leap from a high-stress government job into the world of voiceover. Motivated by the birth of her daughter during the pandemic, Danielle shares how stepping away from “the safe path” led her to finally pursue something for herself. She talks about finding joy in her first bookings, learning to trust her instincts, and discovering the value of her voice—even after years of not liking it. Danielle also reflects on how her past career shaped her perspective and how being relatable, grounded, and warm helps her stand out in the booth. This is an inspiring story of reinvention, resilience, and reclaiming your voice. https://danielleharrisvo.com/ When was the last time you heard a woman voicing the promos for the Super Bowl, a PGA tournament, or the World Cup? Chances are, you haven’t—and that needs to change. The Building Doors campaign is pushing for equal opportunities in voice-over, especially in male-dominated spaces like sports. We spotlight female voice actors voicing ads originally voiced by men, challenging brands and agencies to embrace gender diversity.
