Great action in the Brooklyn, NY ring and controversy with weight has cancelled a fight outside of the ring for this week's "Fight freaks Unite Recap Podcast." Host T.J. Rives returns with insider Dan Rafael of BigFightWeekend.com to go over the Showtime/PBC card in NY, as Danny Garcia returned from well over a year off and won easily over Jose Benavidez. Dan has thoughts on how Garcia looked and what might be next? Plus, the guys discuss the raw emotion of Garcia in tears in the ring over relaying that he had battled mental health issues over the last year +. Next, the rest of the card analysis includes heavyweight Adam Kownacki being beaten decisively again, this time on a 10 round decision by Ali Eren Demirezen. While Demirezen deserves credit for the great tactical fight he fought, the guys wonder if this should be Kownacki's last bout, as he's suffered three straight defeats and taking tons of punishment in all of them?And, Dan has thoughts on the controversial stoppage in the Gary Antuanne Russell Rances Barthalemey fight that started the Showtime broadcast.
