DANNY LA RUE sings "(It's Just) One of Those Songs"

British nostalgia for fans of Danny La Rue. Will Holt wrote this. He adapted an old campaign song and turned it into "The MTA Song." His single wasn't a hit, but when it was covered by the Kingston Trio, it sure was. He also adapted a folk song and transformed it into "Lemon Tree," which Trini Lopez took to the Charts. Will also wrote "The Me Nobody Knows" among other Broadway ventures. THIS may be his most famous original composition. It's even turned up as background music on "Benny Hill" episodes. At a party, he'd often get two questions, First: "What do you do?" To the answer, "I'm a songwriter," he'd get the second question: "What is your best known song?" He's say "One Of Those Songs." No reaction. Then he'd sing the opening line: "It's just...ONE OF THOSE SONGS..." and he'd get smiles and nods of recognition.
