Dante Dowdell Out Indefinitely After ATV Accident | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Georgia Bulldogs running back Dante Dowdell is sidelined indefinitely after a serious off-campus ATV accident, with his future in the program hanging in the balance as he receives specialized care at Atlanta’s Shepherd Center. Coach Kirby Smart confirmed the injury is significant but not in its most critical phase, though a return this season remains uncertain. Dowdell, a key transfer addition expected to compete for carries, now leaves a major void in the Bulldogs’ backfield depth. The team is focused on his recovery, with Coach Smart and the organization praying for his full healing and eventual return to the field.
