Dar Vasseghi, CEO, Yoshinoya USA

Dar Vasseghi has enjoyed a prestigious career in specialty retail food brands for more than 20 years. He began his career at McDonald’s (AT THE AGE OF 16!!!) and has worked for many of the largest food brands in the world, including Yum! Brands, Dunkin’ Brands, Arby’s, Jamba Juice, and Chobani. Dar became the CEO of Yoshinoya USA in August of 2013, and under his direction, Yoshinoya has recorded four years of continuous annual same-store sales growth through both higher average check and steady increases in transactions. Dar graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS in Finance and Economics and later attained his MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In addition to his professional achievements, Dar is an accomplished guitarist who had toured globally.
