Darby Borough mayor ‘in a lot of pain’ but recovering after hit-and-run crash

The mayor of Darby, Delaware County, Joar Dahn, says he's "in a lot of pain" but grateful his injuries are not more serious. Dahn says he was involved in a hit-and-run crash on LaSalle University's campus Tuesday night. He says he was driving on East Wister Avenue when another driver blew a stop sign on Elkins Avenue, crashed into his car, and then sped away. The mayor was hospitalized for his injuries. Dahn is hopeful that doorbell cameras or LaSalle's security cameras captured the incident. He says he's grateful to everyone who has reached out with prayers, messages and well wishes.
