Daring To Draw Near - Job and the Whirlwind

Title: Job and the Whirlwind    Scripture: Job 42:1-10    Intro    Purpose of Series    Back story of Job    Job’s story gives us the right perspective and strength to deal with our suffering.     We learn 3 things of why we go through suffering:       Know who you are before God vs 1-6    Know He is Master and you are servant vs 7-10    Know the One who truly suffered Innocently   Conclusion:    Job found the satisfaction in his suffering because he never stopped going after God    Reflect and Discuss     When was the last time you faced suffering?  How was your response to God at that time?  Were you yearning to know His heart, or disappearing from His presence?     How does the cross give us a greater resource to deal with suffering than any other options out there?
