Dark City - Movie Review

We do an analysis of Dark City with special guest, Nicky P. of the Sounds Like Liberty Podcast, which can also be found on the Launch Pad Media.  This was a pick by Nick and I'm glad he did.  We'll find our way to Shell Beach with him on the barrelhead.   Separated from his wife Emma, amnesiac John Murdoch awakens alone in a strange hotel to learn he is wanted for a series of brutal killings.  Things get weird when we are introduced to the Borg-like vampires who control the world above in tabernacle-choir fashion using their collective telekinesis to reshape the lives of others. Their quest to save their species by understanding what it means to be “human” creates a dystopian laboratory on a floating disc in space.
