Dark Force Programming In Plain Sight

A kids movie seems harmless until your child repeats the message back to you in the car. After taking my kids to see a new PG film, one offhand comment from my son made me rewind the whole storyline and ask what was really being “taught” beneath the plot. Today I'm talking about two Dark Force programs that are hiding in plain sight, and why they matter for families who are trying to stay clear, grounded, and intentional in a world full of subtle influence. First, I share what stood out to me in the movie, why humanizing certain animals can quietly reshape kids’ emotions around eating meat, and how shame-based narratives can take root early. From there, I connect it to brain health and nutrition, including why I believe children need real, nutrient-dense foods and healthy dietary fat for development, and why I don’t buy the mainstream demonization of cholesterol and whole-food fats. Then we pivot to social media trends like “me in 2016 vs now” and "Mom what did you look like in the 90's?" and why it set off alarms when celebrities pushed it hard. I explain my concerns about AI, how photos can be used to model your identity over time, and why I treat images as a serious energetic access point.
