Dark Horses Ready to Shock | Louisville Football News

Two under-the-radar college football teams—SMU and Louisville—are quietly building cases to shock the playoff landscape. SMU, fresh in the ACC with Dallas backing them, just beat Miami last year and has the firepower to compete. Louisville, led by coach Jeff Brohm, boasts a loaded running game and a defense primed to make noise, despite a tough opener against Ole Miss. Both squads are betting big on themselves, and their non-conference wins could lift the entire ACC’s playoff hopes. With teams like Washington, Houston, Kansas State, and Arizona also lurking as sleeper threats, this season promises chaos—and maybe a few dark horses finally getting their shot.
