It begins somewhere beneath the surface — LAST LIFE, Claudio PRC, Fernie, Distant Echoes — where rhythm is still half-hidden inside atmosphere. Slowly, the machinery emerges. Vohkinne, Takaaki Itoh and The Black Dog bring the pulse into focus; Linear System, Cleric, Phase Fatale / Silent Servant and Slit Observers turn that pulse into something colder, harder and increasingly physical. But the set never follows the obvious route. Deep techno gives way to industrial tension. Electro cuts through the machinery. Hypnosis replaces impact, then impact returns. Steve Bicknell and Regis act as ghosts in the architecture, connecting the present to a darker lineage of techno built on repetition, restraint and refusal. Contemporary voices — TENSAL, Qualza, NWHR, SARF, Lakey and others — push those ideas forward without abandoning their roots. There is no conventional peak here. Instead, the pressure circulates.
