DarkNotes: Monopoly
from Hot Water History · host GaryRichied w/CharlieWesterman
In its history and even in its gameplay, Monopoly has always been an anti-capitalistic indoctrination tool. It glorifies submission to central banking and the State while treating competition in free markets as nothing but a hateful exercise of ruination against your fellow man. Try to cooperate? Other players howl collusion. "Land" on the property of another? You are forced to pay without receiving any benefit from exchange. That is to say that the Georgist, original intent of the game remains: to leave the contestants believing that any sound recognition of property rights (from which all other inalienable rights are mere descriptors) renders individuals throughout the rest of the world as nothing but aggressors and trespassers. When Oak Parkers are not busy defending their collective right to monopolize land use according to the richest Oak Parkers' tastes, they are busy arguing about just how democratic their democracy should be. The rabbi class wants less.www.hoth2ohistory.com@HotH2OHistory@chuckwest20BUY TRIDENTINE BEER: www.tridentinebrewing.comBUY GARY TRIDENTINE BEER: www.buymeacoffee.com/garyrichiedPAX!
