His coaching philosophy—love first, inspire second—was modeled after his father, a legendary coach who guided generations of athletes, including his own son. Together with his wife Lisa, he welcomed players into their home—whether for potlucks or sleepovers—all to inspire unity and help them grow as one team.Beyond the field, he built and managed businesses, facing challenges with the same grit that defined his athletic career.
