Darth Maul: Death Sentence Review – SWR #64

Should you be reading Darth Maul Death Sentence? Mark Hurliman and Riley Blanton help answer that question in the latest episode of the Star Wars Report podcast! I haven’t picked up a Star Wars comic book in months. Not that I don’t like them, I’ve just never followed them very closely. However with the return of the Maul/Savage Opress story arc in Clone Wars season 5, my interest was piqued when I heard about “Darth Maul: Death Sentence”. I really enjoyed both issues of the comic, mainly because it ties so well into the Clone Wars series. I personally prefer it when expanded universe books or comics closely tie into the films and TV show. This is because I have a very close attachment to the films and their characters. So when and comic “expands” upon the story of a character as cool as Maul, I find it very compelling.
