The abduction of Rukmini in the Narayaneeyam is described in Dasakam 79. Rukmini, radiant and eager, leaves the temple with a friend, and Krishna takes this moment to abduct her. Despite the presence of powerful enemies like Jarasandha and others, Krishna is able to drive them away as a lion would drive away jackals. He takes Rukmini on his chariot, thus rescuing her and defeating the opposition.
