Data Cult Audio 0074 - Normandy Falls

from Data Cult Audio Hosted by DC Audio

Normandy Falls is an LA based artist who focuses on using primarily eurorack modular systems for his recordings and for live sets. He started producing electronic music in 2012 after being in various accoustic bands. Normandy's first full album "Arrangements Of The Cosmos" was released on Aural Canyon (an Austin based label) in Feb of 2018. "Pygoscelis" was recorded live in one take using a eurorack modular system. All effects have been done using eurorack as well. This song is inspired by the migration of the chinstrap penguin, starting in Antarctica, swimming North to warmer S. American waters, and then returning back to Antarctica.
