The opening of the new Liverpool ferry terminal is "in the hands of the Steam Packet" according to the infrastructure minister. Last week it was confirmed that the state-of-the-art facility wouldn't be ready for passengers in time for this year's TT. Building work began five years ago and the cost of the project has soared from around £30 million to over £70 million. The terminal can't be used until berthing trials, which began in March, have been completed. Tim Crookall told Lewis Foster he's disappointed by the delay:
