Dating,intimacy & kissing

Dating, intimacy & kissing... When you've suffered trauma and abuse it's hard to conceive or even think about dating let alone the intimate connection. I couldn't even imagine the thought of entering a sexual and emotional relationship again until I decided to atleast be open to possibility that I may enjoy it and find myself feeling attractive again. So I took the plunge and found myself once again heart fluttering, feeling love when it for all intents and purposes it was sex, sex that of course was beautiful but I didn't expect that feeling. I'm now finding myself in a way I hadn't dreamt of yet and I'm hoping there will be new if not very gentle territory to discover. I actually meant to podcast about something very different today but this just came out so I guess I needed to share it.
