Daughter Joins Dad's College Team | West Virginia Mountaineers Basketball News

Kayli Kellogg, daughter of a college basketball coach, is committing to play for her dad’s team starting in 2027-28 — a first for him as a parent recruiter. She turned down offers from Bradley, Charleston Southern, and Florida Gulf Coast to stay home, a move her proud mom says she’s worked toward since childhood. A standout scorer averaging 21 points per game as a sophomore with strong shooting stats, Kayli missed last season due to a torn ACL but made history earlier this year as West Virginia’s first high school athlete to land an NIL deal. With new recruiting rules on the horizon, her dad admits they need serious talks soon — and this family saga is just getting started.
