He’s John Francis Strachey before he became songwriter Jack Strachey, probably best known for co-writing “These Foolish Things (Remind Me Of You)” You’ll hear a recording of that, plus a couple of Strachey’s light music pieces in the second segment of this week’s show. We’ll also be celebrating Dave Franklin’s birthday. In other segments, we’ll have a vocabulary lesson, take a ride on the merry-go-round and jump out of the fire and into the frying pan!
