Dave Margolis, Summer
from The Odyssey Storytelling Podcast
Only a month ago (listen to Miles' introduction for details on why the July 2018 Summer show is being released in the form of individual story episodes) comedian and radio host Dave Margolis stepped onto the Odyssey stage for the very first time, reminiscing about the summers he spent as a child, playing baseball with his friends. From Dave's Odyssey bio: Dave Margolis has written a number of screenplays, TV scripts, lyrics, poems, and even a novel because, if there's one thing he likes more than writing, it's rejection. A graduate of UCLA, Dave spun the hits at Bakersfield's #1 country music station right out of college and spent most of his usable life managing a film subtitling company in Hollywood. Nowadays he does stand-up around Tucson and sells real estate during the day. He is the radio voice of Corner Connect Realty. This episode was performed and recorded in front of a live audience at The Sea of Glass Center for the Arts in Tucson, AZ, on July 12th, 2018, and was curated by Phil Gordon.
