David, Abishai, and Ishbi-benob

"David, Abishai, and Ishbi-benob" – 2 Samuel 21:15–17 In this powerful sermon from 2 Samuel 21:15–17, Pastor Jeff Cox draws from the account of David, Abishai, and Ishbi-benob to remind us that the battles do not end, and neither can our faithfulness. Even David, a seasoned warrior, grew weary in the fight and needed the help of the next generation. Pastor Cox challenges believers with a vital truth: we will continue to face giants, and we must stay at the work. The older generation must faithfully train and invest in those coming behind them, while the younger generation must rise up with courage and take their place in the battle. This message is a call to unity, perseverance, and generational faithfulness in serving the Lord.
