In Part 2, Dave talks about his expeditions and many related-affiliations, and conveys his passion for life: for exploring and for helping kids growing up like him who have to decide if they will let others define them or decide for themselves. Dave could have given up. Many times, others' actions and words told him he wasn't worth much, would never amount to anything. But he didn't give up. Instead, today he's a trial attorney who works for the biggest names in business and exploration and who is regularly sought out for his legal skills and knowledge on still-developing exploration (ocean and space) law. He's also an explorer himself, having been to the Titanic five times, recovered Apollo F-1 engines from the bottom of the ocean, and much more. This is a public episode.
