David E Wilcox, MD, FACEP – The Evolution of ACEP’s Leadership and Advocacy Conference

from ACEP Frontline - Emergency Medicine

On today’s ACEP Frontline, host Dr. Ryan Stanton talks to Dr. David Wilcox about LAC18. ACEP started hosting a Leadership Conference in the Dallas area, years ago. In 1987, they determined that there also needed to be political advocacy for the patient and started the Advocacy Conference in, Washington, DC. There were only a handful of participants at the first Advocacy Conference. Now, in the combined Leadership and Advocacy Conference (LAC) there are 500-600 attendees. Hear what the conference is about and why it’s so valuable to ACEP members and the patients you care for. Get Involved: https://www.acep.org/federal-advocacy/federal-advocacy-overview/
