David Eickholt & Scott Saville - Sports Journalism, Surviving a Bull Attack, Identity After Sports

Our first guest is David Eickholt, a sports journalist and the publisher of HawkeyeInsider, a website that is part of the 247Sports network. David has been with HawkeyeInsider since June 2018 and has been providing in-depth coverage of Iowa football, basketball, and recruiting. He also gets exclusive interviews with Hawkeye players, coaches, and recruits. David has a double-major in Broadcasting and Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has worked for Rivals Nebraska and KRNU before. David is a proud Iowa native and a die-hard fan of the Hawkeyes. Our second guest is Scott Saville, a sports anchor and reporter for KCRG-TV9 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Scott has been at KCRG since 1999 and has seen many unforgettable moments in Iowa sports history. He also features the skills and accomplishments of high school athletes in his weekly segment, “Athlete of the Week”. Scott is a sports enthusiast and enjoys playing golf, basketball, and softball in his spare time. He lives in Marion with his wife and three kids.
