JT Lewis, son of Scarlet Lewis.......JT lost his younger brother Jesse in the Sandy Hook School Massacre in 2012, and was surprised to hear from Rwandan orphan genocide survivors via Skype in his bedroom shortly after his brother died and they shared how they healed from their trauma with him. He then created www.newtownhelpsrwanda.org and has not only sent a woman to university in Rwanda but also helped former child soldiers in Uganda as well as trauma survivors here in the US.
