David Fizdale, Former New York Knicks & Memphis Grizzlies Head Coach

David Fizdale, Former New York Knicks and Memphis Grizzlies Head Coach and longtime Miami Heat Assistant Coach joins Sports Business Radio Host Brian Berger for a lengthy conversation about race and the Black Lives Matter movement. Fizdale grew up in South Central Los Angeles and was often the victim of police profiling and brutality. He also lived in Los Angeles during the Rodney King trial and subsequent riots. Coach Fizdale has utilized his platform as an NBA coach to help improve all of the communities he has lived in and he is a part of the new committee on racial injustice and reform launched by the National Basketball Coaches Association. Fizdale joins coaches such as Greg Popovich, Steve Kerr, Lloyd Pierce and Stan Van Gundy on the newly formed committee.
