Minister Lametti was first elected as MP for LaSalle-Émard-Verdun in 2015 and served as a Parliamentary Secretary until 2019. Prior to entering politics, he was a Professor of Law at McGill University and served as Associate Dean of the Faculty of Law at McGill for 3 years, as well as a member of the University’s Senate. He holds degrees from U of T and McGill, as well as a Master of Laws from Yale Law School and a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from Oxford University.We’re going to talk broadly today about Mr. Lametti’s agenda for the Department of Justice.
