David Marks - The quest for Ikigai

from Flea Factory Hosted by Richard Sharp

My friend David Marks joins me on the Podcast today. From the factory floor of Holden Vehicles to living and working as an educator in Japan. Oh and a moment of talking about Port Adelaide's Premiership in 2004. Ikigai (pronounced ee-key-guy) is a wonderful Japanese concept that essentially means “a reason for being.” It's made from two Japanese words: iki, meaning “life” and kai, meaning “effect, result, worth or benefit.” Combined: “a reason for living.” Become a Patron and Supporter of the Podcast @ Patreon.
