Hola apasionados del taekwondo. Les traigo la segunda parte de la entrevista con David Navarrete.En la primera parte de la entrevista David nos cuenta sobre algunas investigaciones que se hacen para rescatar tradiciones marciales europeas.Esto hace que nos hagamos la pregunta sobre si hay investigaciones sobre artes marciales en la América precolombina. Sin duda en este lado del mundo hubo pueblos guerreros que debieron de tener tradiciones marciales que transmitían de generación en generación.Sin embargo David nos comenta que no ha habido estudios con rigor académico sobre las artes marciales en los pueblos indigenas. Nos menciona algunas prácticas que han permanecido como deportes, tales como el porrazo que aún se práctica en el estado de Guerrero.La aplicación de las formas.El crecimiento deportivo del taekwondo ha hecho que algunos conceptos importantes del taekwondo hayan quedado olvidados. En los últimos tiempos, incluso las formas han tomado protagonismo desde una perspectiva completamente deportiva.Esto de alguna manera ha preservado la práctica del poomsae, sin embargo la aplicación de las técnicas y conceptos que hay en ellas es muy importante para tener una visión completa del taekwondo como arte marcial.Cada movimiento en las formas tiene una función, no son solo un compendio de técnicas.David actualmente realiza una investigación sobre la aplicación de las formas y en la entrevista nos da algunos ejemplos basados en poomsaes de taekwondo.Por cuestiones de tiempo puede ser difícil transmitir a todos los alumnos esta interesante parte del taekwondo y es muy probable que no todos los alumnos sepan aprovecharlo.
