David Njoku makes the Chargers offense unsolvable

The Los Angeles Chargers have officially bolstered their roster by signing veteran tight end David Njoku during the 2026 free agency period. This strategic acquisition adds a Pro Bowl playmaker to an offensive unit that already features young talents like Oronde Gadsden and Charlie Kolar. General Manager Joe Hortiz secured the veteran to provide quarterback Justin Herbert with a consistent scoring threat, particularly within the red zone. Under the guidance of offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel, the team anticipates that Njoku’s experience and physical presence will create significant mismatches for opposing defenses. This move reflects the organization's commitment to aggressive roster building as they prepare for the upcoming season.
