David Smith - When Adventure Calls…

“When God calls you to adventure, you sign up for it, right? Today’s story is one full of twists and turns and journeying through life’s up & downs WITH God, in the midst of a bunch of transitions, changes, navigating moves internationally, hearing from God, walking with him in the hard seasons and even being open to new adventures with him. Today I’m excited to share more about David’s story as I believe a LOT of what he’s been through, from hiking moments and real life struggles to encountering God in unlikely ways, even talking through some of his childhood and things that has shaped who he is today, even things he’s survived and using where he’s at now to bring hope and freedom to others, that you as a listener might be encouraged by. David Smith grew up in the Pacific Northwest where he developed a passion for the outdoors and photography. He began taking piano and accordion lessons at an early age and used both of those as a former member of the band Seabird. He also wrote music for Chicago Street Studios. His love for Jesus and his love for people have led him all over the world. He currently resides in Northern Ireland with his dog Sequoia where he is authoring his first book that will be released with a collection of songs he’s written.
