David Trotter got into filmmaking by being in front of the camera as a pastor. As his interest in filmmaking grew so did his compassion for orphans in India after his experiences on frequent visits. This led to his involvement in co-producing a documentary about orphan awareness in India. More recently he has produced the film In Plain Sight to raise the awareness of sex trafficking in the US.
