In this role, he empowers over 700 fellow volunteers spanning six continents to leverage the accredited open and transparent process that brings government, academia, industry, consumers, and other relevant stakeholders to develop consensus product safety standards based on science and data. As a public speaker, educator and connector, David emphasizes the importance of unbiased consensus standards in fostering a reliable and safe marketplace.David’s most important initiative to date is the launch of the S3 Collective. This exclusive, agnostic nonprofit foundation is the first of its kind and will effectively connect all standards and best practices to policy and regulation to build an international framework.
