David vs. Goliath: The Naysayers

As David approached the battle line to greet his brothers, he heard Goliath of Gath mocking. When questioning the men as to why the giant wasn’t being confronted, David was met with great scorn. Being willing to do battle with the giant himself he was faced with the negativity of people, his lack of experience and Saul’s untested armor. However, David held strong to his conviction that it would only be The Lord who would deliver him and he approached the philistine.
