In todays episode Michele Asch and Sam Donnelly. Michele is the chair of the board for Burlington Burlington’s future and Sam is the executive director. BBFs mission is to build an affordable, safe, and vibrant Burlington through effective policy development and community action. In the second hour I will be joined by April Vanderveer and Rinn Mandeville. They are the President and Vice President of the Vermont Chapter of American College of Nurse Midwives. We will be discussing the growing challenge of diminishing options for pregnant women living in rural areas across the country and in Vermont. Since 2020, across the country, over 100 rural Obstetrics facilities have closed.
