Davion Jones Safety Decision Countdown

Davion Jones, North Carolina’s top safety recruit and a four-star talent, is narrowing his college choices to five elite programs—South Carolina, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, and Indiana—with a decision due July 26. Already on the road, he’s taken official visits to each school in recent weeks, showcasing his elite versatility on defense and track. With 50 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles as a junior, Jones is nationally ranked 11th at safety and 6th in his state. For Georgia, his arrival could fill a potential void with K.J. Bolden’s possible departure, offering him a shot at an immediate starting role. This is a pivotal moment for a standout athlete with multiple paths to greatness.
