Davis Cries Wolfmon

Veemon finally Digivolves into ExVeemon, and we couldn’t be more excited about it! This week on My Adventures With Digimon, we’re revisiting Digimon Adventure 02 Episode 22, “Davis Cries Wolfmon,” and all the ridiculous chaos that comes with Davis trying to force Veemon to Digivolve just to impress Kari. From his hilariously terrible schemes to some classic Digimon slapstick, this episode had us laughing way more than we expected! But the real highlight is Veemon finally reaching his Champion level and becoming ExVeemon! Seeing that classic Champion Digivolution animation return with a new D-3 brought back some serious childhood nostalgia. We’re breaking down the comedy, Davis and Veemon’s friendship, and why this silly little adventure ended up being such a fun episode of Digimon Adventure 02! 📺 WATCH MY ADVENTURES WITH DIGIMON ON YOUTUBE https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0gHHg-xQBVPkZXCHukQAE6XMdqcqKfUm ❤️ SUPPORT THE SHOW Patreon: https://patreon.com/hopefullyawesome Become a YouTube Member: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHRvjz_pKP1Th5Y8ZIwFMtQ/join 🛍️ HOPEFULLY AWESOME MERCH https://hopefullyawesome.creator-spring.com/ 📒 SHOW NOTES AND RESOURCES Chapters 0:00 -My Adventures With Digimon - 2x22 3:28 -Davis Cries Wolfmon | Review 11:23 -War What Is It Good For? 16:27 -Continuity 24:59 -Welcome to the Party Pal -In Memoriam 31:28 -Who’s That Digimon? 33:15 -Traitor! -Puberty but with Super Powers 33:51 -Saban Dub 41:15 -Pizza Time 41:49 -The Roasting of Davis 48:37 -That’s Just Prime 49:25 -Digimon References 51:35 -The Talon Mix 53:27 -Next Time on Digimon: 2x23: Genesis of Evil 📘 CONNECT WITH MATT AND MAGGIE Matt: https://bsky.app/profile/matt.hopefullyawesome.com Maggie: https://bsky.app/profile/maggie.hopefullyawesome.com Hopefully Awesome: https://bsky.app/profile/hopefullyawesome.com TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@hopefullyawesom Discord: https://discord.gg/PSC9WdsKF4 ❤️ THANK YOU TO OUR PATRONS AND YOUTUBE MEMBERS THIS MONTH! Each week, Matt and Maggie break down the story, compare the dubs, rank the Digimon of the Week, hunt for references, and occasionally get distracted by what the DigiDestined are eating. We’re a married couple who love 90s and 00s nostalgia, good laughs, and geeking out over the stuff we love. Whether you grew up watching Digimon or you’re discovering it for the first time, grab your Digivice and come along for the adventure. My Adventures With Digimon is part of Hopefully Awesome, where we keep things positive, have fun, and celebrate the stuff we love.
