Davos 1: Servant of Who?

Brotherhood Without Manners, your favorite full spoiler reread podcast of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, is back with another chapter from Storm of Swords. This episode we read Davos 1 as he awakens on a rock out at sea. Davos is in a very sad state as he contemplates whether he has a reason to live. We see a glimpse of how Davos survived at the end of the battle of Blackwater, but something...fishy...happened where he manages to survive. Davos deals with the guilt of surviving the battle where so many, especially his sons, died painful, gruesome deaths. With the sails of a ship quickly approaching we discuss the voices that Davos hears coming from the sea. Is he hallucinating? Or are the drowned gods speaking to him? By some kind of miracle, Davos is rescued by Stannis' men.
